Early Black Friday Sales Launch With Deep Retail Discounts
Retailers have begun launching early Black Friday promotions well ahead of the traditional late-November shopping window, introducing steep discounts across travel gear, activewear, home furnishings, and fitness equipment.
While the official shopping period spans Friday, November 27, through Cyber Monday on November 30, brands have already released significant price cuts. What began as a traditional post-Thanksgiving shopping day in the United States has expanded globally, with Australian retailers treating November as an extended, month-long savings event.
Travel gear brand July has structured tier-based savings across its entire luggage range, offering $50 off purchases of $400, $110 off orders reaching $700, and up to $250 off spending thresholds of $1,200. In the home furnishings sector, Castlery has slashed prices by up to 50 percent on sofas and bed frames, while adding a $50 discount for first-time online orders.
Fitness enthusiasts can access discounts on at-home equipment through Your Reformer. Beginning October 29, the company reduced Original and Original Folding Reformers by $500, Studio Reformers by $300, and slashed selected accessories by up to 60 percent.
Apparel brand LSKD has implemented storewide reductions of up to 70 percent, featuring items such as $29 sports bras and active shorts alongside $59 leggings. Meanwhile, rug retailer Miss Amara opened early access to its catalog with discounts reaching 50 percent off in-house designs, with entry-level pricing starting at $249.
Retail analysts note that shopping events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday now stretch well beyond their original four-day window, with brands increasingly initiating sales promotions as early as late October both online and in-store.
