Brooke Hogan Condemns ‘Greedy Vultures’ Following Sale of Hulk Hogan Florida Estate

The beachfront property that served as the final sanctuary for wrestling icon Hulk Hogan has been sold, sparking a public confrontation from his daughter, Brooke Hogan, who has accused unnamed associates and family members of exploiting her father’s legacy for financial gain.

The 5,400-square-foot mansion in Clearwater Beach, Florida, recently changed hands for $5.9 million. The sale price represents a significant decrease from the original $11 million asking price set in January. Additionally, a neighboring guest cottage on the property was sold separately for $2.8 million. The real estate transaction follows the death of Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, who died at age 71 in July 2025 after suffering a heart attack at the residence.

In a series of emotional public statements, Brooke Hogan, 38, expressed deep resentment over the sale, describing the proceeds as “dirty money” and characterizing those involved in the estate’s distribution as “fake, greedy people.” The former reality television personality claimed that certain individuals only appeared toward the end of her father’s life to secure a portion of his wealth.

Brooke’s reflections on the sale were deeply personal, as she recalled the home as a place of recovery and private family moments. She shared memories of the residence being the location where her father envisioned growing old with his former wife, Jennifer McDaniel, and described it as the site of numerous post-surgery recoveries. Brooke provided details of their daily life in the house, mentioning the smell of gasoline in the garage and hours spent sitting with her father in the chair where he ultimately died.

A central theme of Brooke’s grievance involves the care her father received during his final years. She specifically praised McDaniel, to whom Hulk was married from 2010 to 2021, as a primary caregiver who served as part of a two-person “nurse crew” alongside Brooke. She detailed a rigorous schedule of tracking medications, prescription pickups, and overnight shifts. Brooke claimed that despite the trauma McDaniel endured, she remained devoted until her departure from the family, notably refusing to launch a smear campaign or fight for money after her 2021 split from the wrestling legend.

The public backlash also touched upon the professional tributes following Hogan’s death. Brooke clarified that her frustrations were not aimed at the stars of the WWE, but rather at those she described as “yes men” and hangers-on who appeared at televised memorials. She alleged that some individuals who were absent during her father’s health struggles nevertheless showed up for public tributes to ensure their faces were on camera. According to her account, many who participated in traditional memorial salutes had not spent any meaningful time with her father in the hospital.

The tension within the family is underpinned by significant legal changes to the Hogan estate. In July 2023, two years prior to his death, Hulk Hogan amended his will to exclude Brooke and her descendants, naming his son, Nick Hogan, as the sole beneficiary of his probate estate. While Brooke and her father were once close—a relationship documented on their reality series “Hogan Knows Best” from 2005 to 2007—they were reportedly estranged for the final two years of his life.

Addressing the estrangement, Brooke has previously stated that she stepped away from her father following a series of respectful disagreements that became emotionally taxing. She has also claimed that she requested to be removed from the will herself, citing a desire to avoid the inevitable legal battles she anticipated among other family members. At the time of his death, Hulk Hogan was married to Sky Daily, whom he wed in 2023, though Brooke’s recent statements focused primarily on the period of his life spent with McDaniel and the perceived abandonment by his wider social circle.
