Vertiv Reports 61% Sales Growth in Third Quarter, Boosts Full-Year Guidance

Critical digital infrastructure provider Vertiv Holdings Co reported a strong financial performance for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, fueled by accelerating global demand for data center capacity. The company posted net sales of $4,313 million for the quarter, marking a 61% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This growth included 55% organic sales expansion alongside an approximate 6% contribution from recent acquisitions.

Chief Executive Officer Giordano Albertazzi pointed to robust industry conditions, noting that the company is operating squarely within an expanding infrastructure buildout. Vertiv reported that organic orders grew by over 100% year-over-year. Management highlighted efforts to compress product development cycles from years down to months and scale converged infrastructure production to keep pace with evolving data center demands.

Profitability figures also saw substantial gains during the quarter. Operating profit reached $984 million, reflecting a 90% increase from the third quarter of 2025, while adjusted operating profit rose 83% to $1,087 million. The company’s adjusted operating margin climbed to 25.2%, representing a 290-basis-point improvement over the prior-year period. This margin expansion was attributed to operational leverage derived from higher sales volume and manufacturing productivity, which absorbed impacts from product mix and ongoing investments in growth.
