Streamer Sneako Cut From Adin Ross Broadcast After Tirade Against DJ Akademiks

A group streaming call hosted by internet personality Adin Ross ended abruptly this week when streamer Sneako launched into a verbal assault against commentator DJ Akademiks, culminating in offensive slurs and an administrative cutoff.
The confrontation began when Sneako targeted Akademiks during the broadcast, criticizing his content choices and accusing him of avoiding substantive topics in favor of displaying wealth. Contrasting his own background, Sneako claimed he faced bans for political criticisms while asserting Akademiks took no such risks.
The argument escalated quickly when Sneako referenced a January 2025 controversy involving Akademiks and a 15-year-old Discord moderator. During that prior livestream, Akademiks had directed sexually explicit questions toward the minor, triggering widespread backlash, a temporary Twitch suspension, and a subsequent public apology from Akademiks in which he acknowledged wrongdoing. Law enforcement authorities never filed criminal charges against Akademiks regarding the incident.
During the live call on Ross’s channel, Sneako brought up the past controversy and hurled severe allegations at Akademiks, before shifting into a series of repeated racial slurs and derogatory remarks. Another participant on the call interrupted the rant to condemn the language, telling Sneako that his behavior was the reason he was generally alienated by peers.
Moments after the exchange, Ross intervened by cutting off Sneako’s video feed. A 53-second clip capturing the escalation and the subsequent blackout was later circulated widely on social media platform X.
The incident marks the latest friction point in the network of online personalities, recalling past controversies where Sneako utilized racial slurs during a defense of Ross in a separate dispute involving rapper Doechii. Although Ross publicly maintained support for Sneako following that prior event, relations between the two have experienced public tension, including an exchange in July where Ross suggested Sneako relocate abroad, prompting a swift online rebuke from Sneako.
