Socceroos Schedule November Friendlies Against Qatar and Jordan
The CommBank Socceroos are set to wrap up their preparations for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ with a pair of international friendlies in November against Qatar and Jordan. Guided by head coach Tony Popovic, the squad will use the fixtures during the FIFA International Window to fine-tune their lineup ahead of the continental tournament, which kicks off in January.
The Australian side opens the window on Friday, November 13 local time, facing Qatar at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:45 pm local time, translating to 1:45 am AEDT on Saturday, November 14. Following the match in Doha, the squad travels to Amman to meet Jordan on Tuesday, November 17 local time at the Amman International Stadium. That fixture will get underway at 7:00 pm local time, or 3:00 am AEDT on Wednesday, November 18.

The upcoming clash in Amman marks the first meeting between Australia and Jordan since their June 2022 friendly encounter, where the Socceroos secured a 2-1 victory. Historically, the two nations have faced each other eight times, resulting in five wins for Australia and three losses.
Both international fixtures will be broadcast live via streaming on Paramount+, with international supporters advised to consult local broadcast schedules for coverage options in their respective regions. Subscription terms and regular plan rates apply for the platform.

Following the conclusion of the November international window, the national team’s focus will shift directly toward the final preparations for the tournament in Saudi Arabia.
