Samsung Unveils Luxury W27 Foldable Smartphone in China

Samsung has officially launched its newest luxury foldable flagship, the W27, in the Chinese market. Designed specifically to target high-end consumers and business professionals, the device builds upon standard folding technology by incorporating exclusive exterior styling, customized packaging, and enhanced productivity features that place its positioning above regular Galaxy flagship models.

From an aesthetic perspective, the W27 utilizes a striking black-and-gold color scheme complemented by gold decorative accents to emphasize its premium status. Hardware specifications feature an 8-inch foldable inner display paired with a 6.5-inch cover screen, both supporting high refresh rates. Performance is driven by Qualcomm’s latest flagship mobile platform, supported by a high-capacity storage configuration designed to handle demanding multitasking and productivity workloads.

Imaging capabilities are anchored by a versatile rear triple-camera array, which includes a high-pixel main sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens to accommodate multiple focal lengths. The foldable form factor further expands use cases for content creation, video calls, and flexible framing. Additionally, artificial intelligence plays a central role in the device’s feature set. The smartphone integrates Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI suite, offering real-time translation, intelligent summaries, text generation, and advanced photo editing tools tailored to improve efficiency in business office environments.

Power and software optimization round out the hardware package. The W27 includes a large-capacity battery supporting both wired and wireless charging capabilities. Operating on a customized version of Android-based One UI, the software leverages the expansive screen real estate to facilitate multi-window collaboration, concurrent application execution, and cross-application workflows.
