Best Buy and Amazon Discount Major Horror Titles Ahead of Halloween

Retailers Best Buy and Amazon have launched a broad series of discounts on horror video games just ahead of Halloween, slashing prices on major releases, franchise remakes, and multiplayer titles across recent platforms.

The promotional slate spans some of the most prominent AAA horror titles of recent years, with Amazon matching many of the price cuts initiated by Best Buy. Among the highlighted offers are several entries in the Resident Evil franchise, including remakes of older installments alongside the newly released Resident Evil Requiem.

Fans of psychological horror can acquire the remake of Silent Hill 2 for $22.99, while last year’s release Silent Hill f is available at $29.99. For players seeking Naughty Dog’s fungal zombie narratives, both The Last of Us Part I and The Last of Us Part II are marked down to $29.99 each for their recent PlayStation 5 versions. Meanwhile, Death Stranding 2 is listed at $39.99, and the interactive movie-style thriller Until Dawn is priced at $29.99 for the PS5.

Detective thriller Alan Wake II, described as drawing thematic parallels to both Se7en and Twin Peaks, joins the lineup at $29.99. For multiplayer enthusiasts, the newly released title Halloween: The Game is currently on sale for $34.99.

Additional discounts round out the holiday promotion with lower prices on a Goosebumps title, Little Nightmares 3, and Cult of the Lamb. Players looking for an unconventional take on classic arcade gameplay can also pick up Shadow Labyrinth for $14.99.

Alongside the seasonal game discounts, Best Buy has introduced a new consumer loyalty offering titled the Best Buy Gamers program. The free-to-join program provides participants with information regarding upcoming game releases and sales events, and offers a complimentary $5 credit upon registration.
