Inter Miami CF returns to home turf on Wednesday, Oct. 28, to host FC Cincinnati in a crucial Major League Soccer regular season fixture at Nu Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
Inter Miami enters the midweek contest looking to rebound from a 2-0 defeat on the road against Red Bull New York over the weekend. The team currently holds a 15-win, 6-loss, and 10-draw record, good for 55 points and third place in the Eastern Conference standings. Throughout the campaign, Inter Miami has established itself as the league’s most prolific attacking side, netting 73 goals across 31 regular-season matches—seven more than any other team in MLS.
Captain Messi leads both the club and the league with 25 goals, while also sharing the league lead with 15 assists. Messi enters the fixture as the reigning recipient of the Landon Donovan MVP Award and the Audi Golden Boot.
Wednesday’s match marks the 16th meeting between the two clubs in history. Inter Miami holds an advantage in the all-time head-to-head series with eight wins, five losses, and two draws. Furthermore, Inter Miami aims to extend a four-match unbeaten streak against Cincinnati, having secured two wins and a draw in their most recent encounters, including a high-scoring 5-3 victory on the road back in May.
Opposing them, FC Cincinnati travels to Nu Stadium for the first time carrying momentum from consecutive victories. Cincinnati sits eighth in the Eastern Conference table with 11 wins, 11 losses, and nine draws, totaling 42 points. The visiting side’s attack is spearheaded by forward Kevin Denkey, who leads the team with 17 goals, alongside midfielder Evander, who has contributed 14 goals and 15 assists this season.
Beyond the pitch, the match features Unified Night presented by Florida Blue, bringing special programming to Nu Stadium.
For fans attending the match, stadium officials have outlined several logistical reminders. Public transportation is heavily encouraged, with a special $10 roundtrip Tri-Rail ticket available for purchase to the Miami Intermodal Center. The ticket includes an exclusive $10 food and beverage credit redeemable at Guest Services near Section 101.
Regarding parking, single-match passes remain available exclusively for the Yellow Lot, as the Audi Black Lot and Red Lot are sold out. Attendees must purchase parking passes in advance, as on-site purchases will not be available on matchday due to expected high demand.
