Sydney Sweeney Channels Home Alone in New Holiday Campaign for Syrn

Actor Sydney Sweeney is leaning into nostalgic holiday cinema for the latest promotional campaign from her lingerie and loungewear brand, Syrn. In a newly released video shared on social media, Sweeney recreates several unforgettable moments from the 1990 holiday classic Home Alone, drawing swift engagement from fans and shoppers alike.
The advertisement opens with Sweeney standing before a bathroom mirror, wearing a plunging navy blue top underneath a cropped cardigan while her blonde hair is styled in loose waves. In a direct nod to the film’s most famous comedic beats, she splashes liquid onto her face, places both hands against her cheeks, and lets out a dramatic scream, mirroring Kevin McCallister applying aftershave.
The tribute continues in subsequent scenes. Sporting a burgundy loungewear set while holding a small white dog, Sweeney widens her eyes in alarm as a shadowy figure appears behind a curtain, playfully invoking the film’s home invasion premise. Another sequence features the actor enjoying a towering ice cream sundae topped with whipped cream, recalling the lavish dessert McCallister treats himself to while having a large house entirely to himself.
The video forms part of the brand’s broader “Hibernation Nation” early access rollout under its newly opened Holiday Shop. Syrn, which Sweeney launched in January, has incorporated cinematic holiday themes across multiple recent campaigns. An earlier promotional release featured Sweeney modeling looks inspired by Cindy Lou Who from How the Grinch Stole Christmas and characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Since its founding, Sweeney has emphasized an inclusive approach to design and sizing, working alongside an all-female design team and diverse casting. Discussing the brand’s origins in an interview earlier this year, she noted that her own difficult experiences shopping for undergarments as a youth heavily influenced the company’s focus on lasting comfort and adaptable body types. Bringing an old, worn silk bra from her sixth-grade years into the Syrn office as a prototype, she sought to establish a standard of everyday wearability that resonated with her personal standards.
The latest holiday advertisement quickly drew positive attention across Instagram, with followers praising both the cinematic homage and the showcased loungewear sets as the brand continues to expand its market presence beyond traditional entertainment projects.
