Milwaukee Weather: Warm Sunday Give Way to Cooler Temperatures and Rain Chances

Residents across the Milwaukee area are enjoying a stretch of warm and pleasant conditions before a shift in the weather pattern brings cooler air and potential rainfall to the region. Sunday is shaping up to be partly sunny and notably warm, with daytime high temperatures expected to reach into the low 70s, specifically topping out around 74 degrees under southerly to south-southwesterly winds blowing at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Conditions will begin to change overnight as a weak and dry cold front moves across the area from Sunday night into Monday morning. The frontal boundary will drive temperatures downward, bringing overnight lows to around 51 degrees with winds maintaining a southerly flow at 5 to 10 miles per hour under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

The arrival of the cooler air mass will be clearly felt on Monday. The start of the workweek turns much cooler and rather windy, with mostly cloudy skies and a daytime high struggling to reach only 58 degrees. Winds on Monday shift to the northeast and increase to 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Temperatures rebound slightly heading into the middle of the week. Tuesday brings a morning low of 48 degrees and a recovery to a high near 61 degrees under partly sunny skies, accompanied by southeasterly winds at 5 to 15 miles per hour and a slight chance of morning or daytime showers.

Thursday starts with a milder morning low of 57 degrees and reaches a high of 71 degrees with light southwest winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Friday cools slightly with a morning low of 55 degrees and a high of 68 degrees, accompanied by north-northeasterly winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
