T-Mobile Unveils Customizable Wireless Plans Allowing Subscribers to Swap Perks

T-Mobile has unveiled a new lineup of wireless plans that allow customers to select and swap a wide array of perks, ranging from streaming services to food delivery, marking a strategic shift away from locking benefits into fixed plan tiers. The new offering brings the carrier closer to competitor models while incorporating selected subscriptions at no additional cost beyond the monthly plan price.
With competition among U.S. carriers increasingly moving beyond traditional battles over network coverage and smartphone promotions, the company is betting that offering greater consumer control over monthly benefits will attract subscribers who currently manage multiple separate subscriptions.
During an early October pilot program, streaming giant Netflix emerged as the most popular benefit among participants, according to Chief Marketing Officer Allan Samson. Music subscriptions and artificial intelligence services also drew significant interest from subscribers, while Xbox gaming proved particularly popular among younger demographics.
Branded as T-Mix, the new plans are scheduled to become available next month and will be structured across three distinct tiers. The Standard tier is priced starting at $55 for a single line, while the More tier starts at $75, and the top-tier Loaded option begins at $95. The total number of perks available to an account will depend on both the chosen tier and the number of lines required.
The carrier has established partnerships with a diverse group of major brands, including Apple, DoorDash, Google, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount+, SiriusXM, Xbox, and YouTube. In addition to entertainment and food delivery, customers can select alternative benefits such as Delta SkyMiles, ESPN Unlimited, Google Gemini, and specific device promotions.
To maintain flexibility, subscribers will be permitted to change their selected perks every three months or during a designated annual change window. Furthermore, certain core wireless benefits, such as satellite connectivity, remain eligible for changes at any time.
