Sydney Sweeney Channels Cinematic Icons for New Syrn Holiday Lingerie Campaign

Sydney Sweeney is blending high-fashion marketing with holiday nostalgia for the upcoming launch of her lingerie company’s latest seasonal collection. On Monday, the actress and entrepreneur unveiled a multi-character promotional campaign for Syrn, her intimate apparel brand, leaning into a series of recognizable cinematic homages to showcase four distinct new capsule collections.

The campaign video, released via social media, frames the collection through a meta-narrative that begins with a nod to the 1990 classic “Home Alone.” In the opening sequence, Sweeney is seen sitting in an upholstered chair and digging into a bowl of ice cream while operating a television, mimicking the behavior of Kevin McCallister. As she switches on the screen, the ad transitions into a stylized showcase of her upcoming designs, with Sweeney portraying several different holiday-inspired personas.

One of the most prominent looks in the campaign features a high-fashion interpretation of Cindy Lou Who from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” To achieve the look, Sweeney wore braided pigtails fastened to the top of her head, a fully contoured nose, and two separate sets of plaid flannel pajamas. This segment of the video shows her navigating a festive Whoville-inspired scene, complete with a fur-trimmed cape, as she manages a pile of gifts and finishes stringing Christmas lights.

As the narrative shifts, the campaign takes a darker turn, transitioning from the colorful world of the Grinch to a more avant-garde aesthetic inspired by the “Corpse Bride.” This portion of the reveal features Sweeney with a stitched smile drawn across her cheeks and a shift in wardrobe to black and red lace lingerie sets. The brand uses this transition—signaled by the screwing in of a final lightbulb—to pivot from the comfortable flannel looks to more provocative designs.

In a third stylistic movement, the campaign references the 1954 classic “White Christmas.” Sweeney appears in an icy blue lace set, kneeling in a snowy environment while holding white feather fans. This is followed by a showcase of an all-white set paired with white fur cuffs, leaning into a traditional romantic holiday aesthetic.

Syrn is structuring this holiday release around four specific “worlds” or capsule collections: Comfy, Seductress, Playful, and Romantic. The commercial rollout is scheduled to begin on October 27 with the release of the “Comfy” collection, which is expected to include the flannel pajamas showcased in the Cindy Lou Who segment. The remaining three capsules will follow as part of the brand’s tiered winter strategy.

This festive campaign follows a series of high-profile brand partnerships for the actress, who has frequently used her platform to expand her business interests outside of film and television. While this latest effort ranges from full-coverage flannel to intricate lace, it stands in contrast to her most recent advertisement for the sports betting application Novig, which featured the actress in a significantly more stripped-down capacity.

By leveraging iconic characters and seasonal themes, Sweeney’s brand is positioning itself to capture the intersection of celebrity lifestyle branding and the holiday shopping season. The Syrn collection will be available through the brand’s digital platforms starting later this month.
